Augustine of Hippo was a 5^th-century early Christian church philosopher and theologian. While most known for his work ‘City of God’, he also wrote many other treatises on aspects of the Christian faith.

Early printings of the works of Saint Augustine are some of the most coveted and desired works of the early Christian church, and this 1547 Venice edition is no exception. This tome from Montisferrati includes many of Augustine’s letters and homilies. Perhaps the most important works found in this book include:
