In 1611, Swiss theologian Joannes Jacobus collected and edited Eusebius’s ‘Church History’ who decided to include the works of these other historians and philosophers. Eusebius’s ‘Church History’ is considered the pioneering work on the history of the Church. He details the life of Jesus through Emperor Constantine’s military victories.
