In addition to his magnum opus, he published other lesser-known works including his ‘Drapier’s Letters’ and ‘Journal to Stella’. The ‘Stella’ journal is a collection of dozens of letters written to his friend Esther Johnson whom he called Stella.
This beautiful late 19th-century edition of Swift’s ‘Letters and Journals’ was published in 1885 by Kegan, Paul, and Trench. It contains commentary and notes by Stanely Lane-Poole.
