Pierre du Moulin was a 17^th-century English Huguenot pastor known for his leadership at the Canterbury Cathedral. While living in England, after moving from France, du Moulin wrote many of his famous works. One of his lesser-known works was his “De La Conoissance de Dieu”. “On the Knowledge of God”, as it is known, describes God’s relationship with the world, the heavens, and the beings of creations. Moulin describes man’s intelligence, will, freedom, moral restraints, greed, and how they are all guided by the soul. It also contains instructions on following God, seeking his wisdom and knowledge, and forms of confession.
