Throughout his commentaries, Aquinas supports with his principle that everything Jesus did on earth was to teach us and leave an example.

This extremely rare volume from the 1520 printing of ‘Catena Aurea’, or Aquinas’s commentary on the four Gospels. This particular volume features his commentary on the Books of Matthew and Mark.
