Aubert Le Mire was an early 17^th-century Dutch ecclesiastical historian known for his extensive portfolio of works. Le Mire was known to have written works on ecclesiastical heraldry and military monastic orders, Benedictine monasticism, Augustinian canons, and chronologies of the Low Countries.

One of the best works was ‘De Rebus Bohemicus’ – a brief but complete history of the Czech Republic and Southern Poland. In this work, first published in 1621, Le Mire describes the genealogy of Bohemian kings, bishops and archbishops in Prague, Wroclaw, and Olomouc.
