1645 MEDICNE 1ed Fernel Occult SECRETS Angels & DEMONS Morbis Rerum Causis 3in1
Jean Fernel was a 16th-century French physician best-remembered for coining the term ‘physiology’ as it pertains to the human body. Perhaps his best book was ‘Universa Medicina’, a book covering three aspects of medicine – physiology, pathology, and therapeutics.
One smaller subset of the larger work was “Morbis Universalibus” that focuses primarily on diseases and pathology, rather than physiology and the human body as a whole. The 1645 edition of “Morbis” was published in Leiden by Francis Hackium.
In addition to Fernel’s “Morbis”, this collection of his works also includes a 1644 printing of “De Abditis rerum causis” – a book of occult phenomena and medical secrets. It is worth noting that this work includes sections on the existence of angels and demons!
