Robert Baron was a 17th-century Scottish theologian known for being one of the ‘Aberdeen doctors’. Baron is much better known for being an Anglican bishop and preacher rather than his written works; however, one of his known works was ‘General Metaphysics’ – a philosophical treatise consisting of the basics of metaphysics with the influences of French scholar Claudius Salmasius.
This 1657 Latin edition was edited by Antonius Clementius, published in Lyon.
