- Charles Le Goux de La Berchère (23 October 1647 – 2 June 1719) was a French prelate. He served successively as Bishop of Lavaur (1677–1685), Archbishop of Aix (1685–1687), Archbishop of Albi (1687–1703) and Archbishop of Narbonne (1703–1719). While his will stated that he wished for his precious book collection to be gifted to the Jesuits of Toulouse, many of his volumes ended up in the collection of his successor, René-François de Beauvau du Rivau. This book also includes his bookplate: Ex Libris Caroli le Goux De la Berchere

- René-François de Beauvau du Rivau (1664-1739) was a French prelate, and Archbishop of Narbonne 1726–1738. He was entrusted by Louis XIV with several ecclesiastical appointments, such as the bishoprics of Bayonne (1700) and Tournai (1707), the latter of which he held during the siege by Prince Eugene in 1709; and the archbishoprics of Toulouse (1713) and Narbonne.
