Richard Perrinchief was a 17th-century Royalist known for serving as a biographer for King Charles I. Following Charles I’s execution, Perrinchief published a survey of his life which included many of the writings of Charles himself. Perrinchief, like other royalists, wanted the death of Charles to not be in vain and wanted his legacy to be honored. It includes the state of the throne during and after Charles, on the death of Queen Anne, on the Battle of Naseby, the censure of Charles’ wealth and fortune, trial, and much more.
