Robert Barclay was a 17^th-century Scottish Quaker and considered one of the most important Quaker authors. One of his best works was “Truth Triumphant” – a collection of Quaker writings and dialogues. Perhaps the most notable work included in Barclay’s “Truth Cleared of Calumnies” in which Barclay defends Quaker philosophy, scripture interpretation, and objections to those opposing Quakers.

Worth noting, this 1692 first edition contains a testimony to the life of Barclay by William Penn.
