Thomas Crenius’s ‘Fasciculus Sextus’ is a collection of devotional works, written to shape and form one’s spiritual life. Crenius includes studies on family building, equipping church officials, vices forbidden at the altar, and the approach to sacrifices. Very little is known of this book – a very rare, late 17^th-century devotional published in Rotterdam. It should be noted that while the works are original to Crenius, he formed his writings based on the famous 12^th-century Jewish rabbi and philosopher Moses Maimonides.
