His plays were composed in simple Latin and were popular during the Middle Ages, despite having prevalent themes of paganism throughout.
Published in 1699, this French and Latin three-volume set was edited by Anne Dacier who became popular for her translations of Homer. This set includes a life of Terence as described by Suetonius as well as the six plays.
