His life and miracles were recorded by author George Fricx in his book “Life and Miracles of Saint John Nepomucene” which included a thorough description of the brutal torture and murder drowning of Nepomuk by Wenceslaus IV King of Bohemia.

This impressive 1731 edition of Fricx’s “Jean Nepomucene” includes 33 beautiful, full-page engravings depicting scenes of Nepomuk’s life and ministry.
