Jeremiah Seed was an 18^th-century English churchman known for his sermons, essays, and theological treatises. Curiously though, Seed’s sermons were not well respected most notably by famed English writer Samuel Johnson who said Seed’s sermons were “not very theological”. Still, Seed’s sermons were collected as part of the ‘Posthumous Works’ in 1750 by Joseph Hall. This fine 1750 first edition of Seed’s sermons includes both volumes bound as one including a sermon on being and nature of evil spirits!
