In the first part of the 18^th-century, the Baskett family began printing the Book of Common Prayer following the success of John Baskett’s 1710 New Testament. This 1752 edition of the Book of Common Prayer was published by Thomas and Robert Baskett in Welsh and includes the entire Old and New Testaments of the Bible as well as a metrical psalter by Archdeacon Edmund Prys.
