1753 Peikhart Jesuit BIBLE & Commentary German Stephens Cathedral Vienna 4v HUGE
Franz Peikhart was an 18th-century Jesuit priest who served at Saint Stephen’s in Vienna. While little is known of his life and ministry, he did write an enormous commentary on the Gospels of the New Testament. These four huge tomes contain notes, anecdotes, and scripture passages from each of the four gospels, as well as sermons given at Saint Stephen’s Cathedral.
This edition contains all four tomes, each book in its own volume, published in 1753 in Munich and Ingolstadt.
