Augustine Leyser was an 18^th-century German jurist and writer of legal works. His most known work was ‘Meditationes ad Pandectas’, large collection of his more than 700 works formed into one set. Many of Leyser’s legal rulings and ideas are still found and addressed in modern legal conventions and laws.
