This textbook by Johann Amos Comenius was simply a text of Language, as the English title suggests, “The Door of Languages Unlocked.”

It was written with 1,000 short sentences comprising of roughly 8,000 words. In all, there have been over 100 editions of this book printed! This early 19th-century printing was issued in a 3-column format in Latin, German, and Czech.
