It is an update to Catharine Beecher’s influential “Treatise on Domestic Economy” and incorporates domestic writings by Harriet Beecher Stowe first published in The Atlantic in the 1860s.
This first edition, in a beautiful green cloth binding, features a lovely frontispiece as well as 77 in-text illustrations throughout!
