1909 1ed MARK TWAINs Last Book Extract from Captain Stormfields Visit to Heaven
“Captain Stormfield’s Visit to Heaven,” the last of Mark Twain’s books published during his lifetime, was printed in the same red cloth that Harper used for many of Twain’s works. This book is Mark Twain’s vision of Heaven and the journey in which is required to get there. Even though this book undermines most Christian views of salvation, it still maintained a popular read. According to BAL, the size of the first printing is unknown, even though three varying sheet sizes exist.
